annually because they cannot afford a
LIFESAVING PACEMAKER OPERATION! Thus,
the need is greater than the ability
to provide! But the problem will only
increase as the populations we serve
develop cardiovascular disease which
is increasing at an alarming rate and
is the number one cause of death worldwide.
This does not stop us. Quite the opposite!
It provides greater passion and motivation
to find new and innovative ways to reach
more people to provide more services
so that one day we may say…

one on this planet should ever die
as a result of needing a life saving
Pacemaker device and simply not being
able to afford it.
We
are proud to know that Heartbeat International
has saved over 10,000 lives. But the
truth is that this is only the beginning.
The bigger picture is that each and every
of patient has a foundation of family,
friends and community. If we are able
to save just one more life and that person
goes out to his or her community to make
a difference for others, then our mission
achieves a far greater impact! An impact
we may never see but may proudly say
that "we played a little role".
